The Franklin County Area United Way feels relief, expresses gratitude to the citizens, businesses, and organizations of Franklin County, for giving generously to push us over the top of the 2011 Campaign Goal. A week before the end of the campaign, we still had more than 30% of the total to raise. It was a desperate feeling as we realized for the first time in history, we would probably fall short. But we didn't fall short!! In fact, we exceeded our goal by $3,888. Thanks to the generosity of the citizens of Franklin County, our mission to provide health and human services to people who need help can go on. We couldn't do what we do without the donations of all sizes that come to us as gifts back to the communities of the givers. Whether the donation is one dollar or one million dollars, every gift helps someone in some way.
